”Sweet Victory’s My Gain”

(Written for Tim Magill after hearing he is in
100% remission from the cancer he fought with the help of the Lord!)

I have been to war and now I’m coming home clean. Washed the dirt off my feet no more filth to reign king. No chains now to hold me, nor fear of disease. I’m healed in His name, I praise Him with ease. Each day with each step confirms sweet victory. I’m an over comer though His loving care for me. Do not lend pity for the sorrow and pain Through this long trial, sweet victory’s my gain!
